HOSSELAER is a high- end exclusive street- wear fashion label based in Amsterdam founded by Farida Sedoc in 2008.
At a young age I got exposed to street- culture, this led to my love for hiphop, street- art and ultimately street- fashion. In my work i try to make a connection between a
‘state of the art’ style and a ‘traditional’ way of working. A bold yet balanced mixture of colourfull graphics, classic applications, haute- couturistic and surinamese elements make HOSSELAER.
HOSSELAER 3# ‘BACK TO BASICS’ POP UP SHOP is the follow up of 2 previous shows during the Amsterdam International Fashion Week; HOSSELAER 1# “streetwear is the new haute couture” (2008) and HOSSELAER 2# “who no know go know” (2009). For the 3rd collection HOSSELAER is going back to its origin (2003). This is the time when Farida started to make t-shirts and sweaters and selling them on the streets.
Now you are welkom to visit her on the opening of the first HOSSELAER POP UP SHOP saturday the 17th from 20hr till 23hr on the Zeedijk 37.
